Wanted – Producers/directors for New TV Station

Within the next few weeks Intervision TV will be launching 2 new channels on cable across Europe and the USA.
E1, is based around 4 genres, Travel, Books, Business and Finance, and Country.

E2 is based around the genres of Gadgets, Entertainment News, Motorsports and Club/Music.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced, creative and committed broadcast professionals to join a young, innovative, and soundly financed company that intends to become a major world-wide player.

Initially, we are looking for 2 Heads of Genre for E1, covering Business and Finance, and Country.
Within 4 weeks we will be looking for 2 more Heads of Genres, covering Gadgets and
Entertainment News.
Your key objective is to deliver programmes that appeal to an English speaking audience in the US and Europe, on time and within budget.
You will have complete budget responsibility for your genre and will be expected to deliver good value for money from that budget using presenters, film crews, and studios owned by the business.
You will have complete freedom to develop programme formats and concepts.
Within constraints of head count and budgets you will also be expected to recruit researchers/production assistants as appropriate

Production budgets will not be large at first but as our coverage grows so will our budgets and we expect to be shooting footage across Europe in 2008.
Priority will be given to applicants with good foreign language skills
