Internet
TV stations are great way to reach small select audiences
Internet TV stations are great way to reach small select
audiences that are uneconomic to reach with conventional
broadcast media, and that can cover anything from niche
content to coportate tv stations formultinationals, or just
to test out an idea before going ahead on cable or satellite.
If you have an idea for an internet TV station and have
access to the footage, or want to create new content, then
contact us. We set up internet TV stations on a regular
basis in many countries, both for ourselves (eg Holiday
TV) and for others. We can either take in just your tapes
and act as a play out centre or you can do this yourself.
If you own a satellite TV station we can rebroadcast your
content on the internet for very little cost. All this can
be done at speeds of up to 2000kps full screen.

Intervision TV
In the following pages you will find examples of what we do,
everything from shooting videos right the way through to broadcasting
TV channels, which is quite a lot !!
Many people ask us how we get to do such a wide range of things,
and with a tinge of doubt as to whether or not we do all those
things well.
The story of Intervision Internet video Production starts in
1999 when the 2 founders and owners met in a bar in Putney in
London.
And so Intervision was born. We were, and still are, focussed
on being a production company who makes interesting and informative
programmes and that also owns or controls our own distribution
and transmission.
Initially, all we did was shoot video, encode it (to 35kps) and
put it onto web-sites as Video on Demand (VOD). We learnt the
hard way about cheap single server solutions to video streaming
(don’t do it !!), and we learnt about how to implement payment
systems and the architecture for doing this (and who to use and
who not to use to process payments). And we became the largest
specialist internet video production company for New Media (the
internet !) in Europe. Oh, and we also did a lot of live web-streaming
for conferences and such.
Now, while we were doing this we were experimenting with all
sorts of different ways of using video on the internet, from video
e-mails to simulcasting a tv programme onto the internet and Internet
video Production. In fact we did a technical design for a well-known
reality tv show. And we started to shoot quite high-end programmes
to put onto our own internet sites.
And then we discovered Internet TV stations, and launched our
own, Holiday TV, using footage we shot ourselves and which clients
sponsor us to produce. Holiday TV is one of the few profitable
internet tv stations in the UK and has a peak audience of over
200,000 viewers a month. We didn't like the way the software we
licenced worked, so we built our own in conjunction with another
company, and we now sell that.
In 2006 we were contacted by a broadcaster in Europe who had
seen Holiday TV and had nothing like it in their country, could
we put Holiday TV on cable ? And could we do other genres as well
? And from this start developed Eurochannel TV 1, and Eurochannel
TV 2.
Which makes Intervsion TV a production company, an internet tv
station owner, Internet video Production, and a broadcaster ! and
that makes us rather unique.
And we have been doing it for 9 years, which makes us one of the
longest lived companies in the business, and to have got this
far we have to be damn good at what we do !
